To ensure relevance and engagement, our curriculum is designed based on what students already know and their interests. By following both the South Australian Curriculum and the Australian Curriculum, we offer a comprehensive education that prepares our students for the future.

We encourage our students to be curious, confident, and capable learners who take an active interest in their community and the world around them.

Students at Gumeracha Primary School have numerous opportunities to learn both within and beyond the classroom. Our specialist programs include:

  • Using both hands on and digital technologies to design and create innovative ideas
  • Growing and harvesting food in our SAKG program
  • Spending time caring for our school animals and tending to our natural spaces
  • Exploring in our bush garden and natural landscapes
  • Participating in music lessons with a specialist teacher in terms 3 and 4 of each year
  • Learning to play an instrument and participating in the Torrens Valley music hub

Our classrooms are spacious, calm and inclusive. Teachers and students take pride in their learning spaces and take care in how they present their learning.

We invite you to explore the many learning opportunities available at Gumeracha Primary School and join us in nurturing the next generation of curious, confident, and capable learners.
